Sulfadiazine Product Overview
Sulfadiazine (C10H10N4O2S) is a white to yellowish-white crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water but dissolves in dilute alkali and mineral acids. It melts with decomposition at about 252–256°C and darkens slowly in light.
Veterinary producers combine it with Trimethoprim in oral powders, pastes, solutions and injectables for livestock, horses and companion animals.
